2026 New Administrator Orientation

Hello and Welcome to our 2026 New Administrators!!

Each year we organize orientation programming for all administrators who are new to this position at UNC Charlotte. You will be introduced to people and resources that will make your transition to our Institution as smooth as possible.

The format for the orientation will be hybrid, and spread over a couple of weeks before the start of the Fall semester. Presentations from each presenter will be posted to the UNC Charlotte CANVAS website, about one week before new administrators meet in person for a Q & A Session with each presenter. We ask that you watch the presentations prior to the in-person session so you will be prepared to engage with the presenter.

Dates for the Orientation. The full schedule will be posted when it is solidified so please check back in June.

Dates and Times for NAO

The Location for all NAO Sessions is CHHS Dean’s Conference Room, 4th Floor CHHS

  • Thursday July 9: 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
  • Thursday July 16: 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
  • Thursday  July 30: 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
  • The July 30th session will be followed by New Administrator Reception: 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.
  • New Administrators will have the opportunity to meet with seasoned Administrators from around campus in an informal environment. Wine and light snacks/desserts will be served.
  • Please check on the CANVAS website where the virtual presentations we would like you to watch prior to meeting the presenters face to face for the in-person Q&A Session will be housed. The location for the face-to-face sessions will also be posted.

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE AN ISSUE ACCESSING THE PRESENTATIONS IF YOU HAVE CERTAIN SECURITY SOFTWARE LOADED ON YOUR COMPUTER.
