Foundational Concepts of Teaching and Learning Series

Student Learning Outcomes

Teaching and learning are important at UNC Charlotte. This series supports our commitment to excellence in teaching by promoting one foundational concept a year. Foundational concepts are evidence-based practices essential to effective teaching and deep learning. This year’s concept is student learning outcomes.

As a collaboration between the Center for Teaching and Learning, Communication across the Curriculum, J. Murrey Atkins Library, and the Office of Assessment and Accreditation, this series also highlights key resources that faculty and staff have on campus to support their teaching. Watch the videos below to learn about this year’s foundational concept and the units that can help you implement it.
