Charlotte Faculty Connect: Come connect, build community, no agenda required

Charlotte Faculty Connect is spearheaded by the inaugural Center for ADVANCing Faculty Success’ Faculty Fellow for Fun, Dr. Michelle Pass. This initiative focuses on creating spaces for connection, conversation, and shared joy for all faculty across departments and career stages. Whether you’re looking to meet new colleagues or simply take a break with community in mind, these opportunities are designed for you. It’s about making space for community, conversation, and fun along the way.

This series of monthly meetings is focused on facilitated discussions for mid-career faculty around where you are in our career, what are your goals moving forward and how our office might support you in those goals.   In addition, we hope these sessions will help you build a sense of community and allow you to learn from each other as we discuss the mid-career phase of your faculty career – a period often cited in the literature as being challenging to navigate, particularly in the early phase.
