The goal of the workshop is for panel members to share how they approached the process, and also to provide any helpful strategies and/or tips they used to complete the process.

The agenda for the workshop will be as follows:

Yvette Huet will give an overview of the Reappointment Process, including a brief description of the process, its purpose, what documents the candidates are required to submit, and also next steps moving forward after the candidate successfully meets the requirements for reappointment.

Each member of the panel will have the opportunity to talk about their experience with the process, for example, how they approached preparing their candidate dossiers, and any useful strategies and/or tips they developed as they navigated the process.

A question and answer session will the panelists will follow.

The goal of this workshop is to provide useful strategies for faculty around preparing their dossiers, and not the review of candidates. There will not be a robust discussion around the review process. This subject is covered in the workshop, “ Best Practices in Holistic Faculty Review, ” which is facilitated by the ADVANCE Office in collaboration with Legal Affairs.

Feedback from previous participants in this workshop has been very favorable, so we encourage you to attend,
