This benefit provides confidential, no-cost access to a wide range of services designed to support the whole person — emotional well-being, financial and legal guidance, work-life resources and everyday life support. Available to permanent faculty and staff and their dependents, GuidanceResources® connects you to professional counselors, specialists, tools, and information to help you navigate life with confidence and balance.

University Recreation

University Recreation (UREC) empowers every body, every mind, every day to lead active, healthy, and balanced lives and strive for personal growth throughout and beyond their time at UNC Charlotte by providing recreational, sport, and fitness opportunities for Charlotte students and members. Programs include intramural sports, sport clubs, group fitness, personal training, swim lessons, and more. All fee paying enrolled students are members while non-fee paying students, faculty, staff, alumni and retirees may purchase memberships.

The Center for Wellness Promotion

The Center for Wellness Promotion is a department within the Division of Student Affairs at UNC Charlotte, located in the Joyce Davis Waddell Center for Student Health and Wellbeing. The mission of the Center for Wellness Promotion is to equip students and the campus community with comprehensive health education and prevention strategies that build health literacy, enhance informed decision-making, and promote academic success and lifelong wellbeing.
